Czech households spend the biggest share of their income on living expenses, according to the results of a study by the Czech Statistics Office comparing household spending in the years 1995 to 2015. Over the past twenty years, household spending has increased by nearly 60 percent, according to the study. This was caused not only by an increase of salaries but also by a change in the consumer habits of Czech households.
