Prague, Sept 17 (CTK) – A plane of the Czech Airlines carrier flying to Germany returned to the Prague-Ruzyne airport this afternoon on suspicion of smoke aboard, but no fire was subsequently detected by firefighters, the airport’s spokeswoman announced.
The plane, bound for Hamburg, returned shortly after taking off and landed in Prague at about 18:30.
The airport’s spokeswoman, Marika Janouskova, said the crew of the ATR propeller plane registered problems after the takeoff.
That is why the plane returned to the Prague airport where firefighters assisted in its landing.
A check did not confirm the suspicion of a fire or smoke aboard the aircraft.
