Czechs must handle EU funds properly or risk losing up to 1bn euros

The Czech Republic could lose as much as CZK 25 billion (EUR 968 million) in EU aid this year if it does not correctly administer and accelerate projects, the development ministry said on Thursday, acknowledging a potential hole in public finances.
