The 47th annual rendition of the agricultural fair Země živitelka, loosely translated – Earth, the provider, has started in České Budějovice. After 2 years of absence, the biggest celebration of agriculture in the Czech Republic is back, and the whole event started with the reveal of the newly modernized pavilion Národní pavilion Z. This building cost the Exhibition Grounds of České Budějovice more than 135 million crowns, so it was only right to reveal it at the start of the Země živitelka fair, according to the chairman of the board of the company, Martin Karban. Prague, July 13 – This Friday and Saturday, the multi-genre festival Praha žije hudbou will overtake streets, squares, parks and other public spots of the Czech capital. Křižíkova světelná fontána is one of the venues which will keep you cold during the heatwave in Prague. The fountain is back at the entire operation on the birth anniversary of its creator- František Křižík. Discover where you can visit it and what you can expect from the event!  Historical background  The first work began in October 1890. Klez Brandar is about to exhibit the sixth edition of Lusk Dizehan – a unique concept Breton artist has created himself and started in 2016. Collection of 21 stories told with digital photographs and followed by brief text with thoughts of the artist on the topic. The first official exhibit of a photographer will take place in Gallery 35 of Institute Français de Prague from July 1st to September 3rd. I bumped into Klez on the corner of the building in the Florence area when we both were rushing to Kasarna Karlín for the interview, the place he picked earlier.
